The all-new 2022 Civic Sedan is a modern expression of Honda’s human-centered design philosophy.
The Civic is all-new for 2022, with a redesigned body, updated interior, and—purportedly—better performance.
Even though it has redesigned everything else about the new Civic, Honda has decided to carry over the powertrain options from the previous-generation car. Base models come standard with a 158-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder while the upgrade engine continues to be a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that now makes 180 horsepower.
The 2022 Civic will come standard with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, but a larger 9.0-inch unit is optional, as is a 10.2-inch digital gauge display. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard and also offer wireless connectivity when paired with the larger of the two screens. Other options include in-dash navigation, a Bose stereo system, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
